Yep thats them....raise the bonnet about half an inch or so at the hinges. Suposed to aid cooling but looks quite cool as well some people think

Heres the kit on an Evo 8 to give an idea:

can appreciate the benefits but to me it looks like the bonnet isn't shut properly!!

reverse scoop anyone??? bit more costly than a few washers, but that's the way i'm going i reckon..........

Used to have these on my old rst they did help a little with the cooling as it used to get really hot. Dont think it would help the scooby much and if the bonnet is raised wouldnt that break the seal of the undertray on the intercooler??? Thats if your running a top mount.

Was really handy for demisting the window in winter lol

bttt, my temps were getting on the hot side yesterday.

had a quick blast on oil temp was 100 deg, and water temp 92 deg.

i have a set of bonnet lifters in the shed, wonder if they will help with the cooling?

(i have a sports bonnet on btw, so no scoops)

any other way to make it run cooler?

My lad has them on his Fezza ST150 but he says they are getting a pain in the @rse because everyone keeps telling him that his bonnet is open, particularly at traffic lights.

i was just away to say, pm kickboxingcrazy lol.

thats where i got my set but if you want to run them all the time with tmic you need to do a little work to the undertray like making a further skirt as otherwise would be detremental as all the air is not going where it is ment to.

persoanlly i think they look good but i just add them for events and things like that
