Rockingham wet grip morning
What a great day!! For those that haven't done it, its well worth it I can assure you, had a ball and now understand the car alot more. Not to mention more confident in what my limits, and the cars limits are.
Me being useless as ever managed to record all 2 hours of vid at 90 degs left, and it would seem the recorder has its own proprietry format. Not that the footage is great anyway, great view of my dash and thats it (thats what you get of picking it up at 11pm the night before the event!!)
So whilst I try and break it I'm afraid you'll have to make do with the best road sign ever!!!
Stan, yours sounded bladdy lovely going through it!!!

cheers Si - pity it doesn't make 57mpg
Great morning - better than the drive to Exeter - A14 blocked, M42 Blocked, M6 blocked !!
Will post Rockingham pics when I get home - access to my home page has been blocked for some reason so will try on my other pc.
Thanks to "Steve" () and his team of very patient and brave instructors. Hope to book a drift orientated session when frostbite risks are lower.

Hee hee, Can't believe that mpg, now sitting at 44.4mpg.
I echo Stans's thanks to the instructors, they were either brave or ... Especially getting the tank slapper machine!!
Offline editting is done, just working on online. May be a couple of days. Got 2 hours of footage down to 22 mins.

Finally got around to sorting pics.
I'm very lucky that all my spins, driver errors and other embarassing moments were not captured for public huimiliation (I'm just getting over the embarassment of my spin into the tyre wall at Camp Corner at C Coomb in 2005 which was broadcast on here !! )
It only got worse after this photo !
ooops !
deja vu
Time to think where it all went wrong
Not again !
Don't you hate it when someone gets it right
only someone who gets 57mpg can look this smug !!

Tell me about it ! I "wasted" far more attempts than I had "successes"!
The only advantage about the old "water/oil" skid tracks is they give you more time to correct things as you can go slower than on here. When you get it wrong on here your run is usually over.
