Thanks for the comments, the Turbo is gt3542. It not been fully mapped yet as when we had finished low boost the driveshaft boot split and threw grease all over the exhaust and wastgate and started smoking like mad, my **** did twitch abit when it started smoking lol, so on low boost of 0.9bar I got 396bhp/385lbft, I will be running it at 1.5/1.6bar so hope to see 500bhp but we will see.

Cheers Dougie

People keep telling me to get rid of the air con to save weight, but I like it in the summer. I did totb 08 when it was really hot and while everyone else was sweating with their doors and windows open, I was just fine

I got it from Stevie at Unit 8 perfomance, he is a good freind of mine. He imported it in for me, it took about 6 weeks but it was worth it. They are not listed on his website but he can get anything you want.

Japanese car tuning products in Lancashire from Unit 8 Performance Products

Very nice Dougie but why go for such a monster turbo for relatively modest power?

I had a owens developments turbo on previously which was running 450/450 at 1.8/2.0bar and thats all that could be got out of it. What I wanted was to get good power at low boost, rather than maxing a turbo out to get 500. I get a bar of boost by 3400rpm so its not that laggy. The goal is to get 500 at 1.5/1.6bar.

Plus I got it cheap lol

Dependant on the rest of your spec Dougie, you should walk that. We mapped a GT35/42 on one of our built 2.1 strokers this morning and at 2 bar on VPower it made 627bhp. From memory 1.5 bar was just over 530hp.

Not seen much of your car about, what engine size are you running ?
Looks ultra clean BTW,
