Default My motors now. . .

First things first, I'm still alive . . . just thought I'd pop on and say a quick hello Hope you've all had a good Christmas etc

It's been a while, must have been scooby-less 2 1/2 years

For those who dont remember me

https://www.scoobynet.com/projects-4...diy-style.html

Think I posted a few of this Orion a good while back, well sold that on at Ford Fair this year and have since been car-less

Blue one's still being worked on. . . ( my project since the Type R sold ) engine is near built, just waiting on a 1800 zetec oil pump from Ford on back order :bigcry:
Will be ready for the sunshine :smokin: . . . specs just getting better and better, should see 300bhp plus out of this

Since selling SEV I've just used the misses's A3 when its been about or for work used my push bike. . .

One day on e-bay I ended up with this :smt055 , it was only 6 miles down the road from me so I bought it :banghead: Another Orion was just what I needed, as if 80 hour working weeks and 1 Orion project wasnt enough :119:
The plan was to tidy up a few panels, keep the standard bumpers on, slammed on 15inch stealies and zetec it. . . :gayfight:

That went out the window and it had a full cheap respray in tractor red, abit brighter
Also bought my old 16inch Mondeo alloys back, lowered it on 40mm modded lowering springs, fitted RST front brakes, 90's spec front recaros, a modded 90's spec RST front bumper, Saff spoiler ( still to be fitted ), clear indicators, new headlights, a spare RST LSD box I had lying about.
I then fitted and wired in a 1800i zetec lump ( 130bhp lump ), binned all the standard interior bar the dash to keep the weight down so its now only a 2 seater.
So it now looks like this . . .

Put a standard 1600i exhaust system on with a Focus RS tailpipe welded on to keep it sounding like abit of a sleeper

Under the bonnet looks like this, excuse the engine, still wants a quick degrease and gotta get the rocker cover painted up

The 23rd of Dec saw the Orion driving under its own steam for the 1st time in 5 years lol to the MOT station. . . It goes quite well :-D
1 hour later and the Orion had a fresh ticket on it. . . : Its probabley taken me 3/4 months to build on the cheap, but its a mega giggle for the money. Now just waiting for the end of the month to tax it up. . . Plus got a few little finishing touches to do on it.
I've named this one POV. . . because its a 1300 poverty spec Orion :-D

One final thing. . . Just like to thank Gary Moulson ( Moley ) again for his cracking insurance deals . . .
