hi how do i change my pics on my pc to url addresses so i can post them? cheers peeps!

use photobucket or imageshack, then upload the photos to them, then copy the IMG code and your piccies should appear

hi ok have done that through photobucket and have put the image codes (url) into a thread on here but all i see is the code no pic!?! what have i done wrong? i did press the add image tab on here when replying to a thread and put it into the little pop up box and then thats put the code into my reply but no pic!!

goto the picture,you should get a box with 4 options which are

Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML code
IMG code (this is the one you want) select this, then copy it

this is the code ,i've removed the [IMG] (at the beginning) and [/IMG] (at the end) bits which enable the picture to be seen in the thread but you can click the link to see it.

oh right so i need to remove the img at the start and fin of the code when it appears! i'll try it now!!

ummmmmmm

Right get the IMG code of the picture you want and post it into this thread

Left click the IMG code when on photobucket (the link should go blue)
Right Click brings up the menu where you can select Copy
Then Right Click in your reply, menu should appear where it has an option to Paste,select Paste and your picture show in the thread

thats what i did!?! i copy code of pic on photobucket. go onto the reply bit on here and paste the code in so its on its own? but thats all that is there no pic just the code i've even put the code into the little add picture box on here where you type! i dunno what else to do. on another thread someone took the code i'd posted and did something with it and it worked but i dont no what!!
