From standard to "my style"....
Since owning the car from new I have made subtle mods to the looks and a few tweaks to the guts. The story so far....
Asthetics:
Tints
De-tango
Front fog covers (removed STi decals)
Momo spehere gear **** which reduces the throw due to it being set as low as possible
Flipped brake/rear sidelight so the circle is the sidelight which I think looks and you get a larger brake light
Front lower grille
Uprated H1 dipped headlamp bulbs
Wheels/brakes:
Goodridge steel hoses
Black Diamond discs (front)
Ferodo DS2500 pads (front)
Dot 5.1 fluid
18" Oz Superleggera alloys (refurbed from silver to a gunmetal grey)
Toyo Proxies T1-R 225/18
Suspension:
Prodrive springs (lowers ~30mm)
Whiteline front upper strut brace
Whiteline Rear adjustable 22" ARB
Whiteline alloy drop links (rear)
Whiteline ALK
Engine:
PPP (ECU, Prodrive exhaust, Silicone hose)
K&N Panel filter
5w40 Fully synthetic oil from the 1k service
Has glugged Shell Super Unleaded (V-Power, Optimax) since driving away from the garage with 20 miles on the clock!
Here's the look when I first got it home back in January 2006:
Here's how it lokos now with my fresh new boots and a bit of spit and polish:
Might change the spoiler in the future and may upgrade the brakes I find some money under a bush, otherwise just dreaming of an RB320

Bit difficult to show off the suspension/engine mods (and does anyone want to see the underside of the car?), but point taken on the front end changes:
I was hoping the side on pic shows the drop in ride height and how much better the Oz alloys are - maybe it's more in the eye of the beholder???

I did say some subtle mods to the looks, mainly at the front end and the new boots, but I do think it looks a lot better than standard with the Prodrive zorst, de-tango, tints, grille, etc. I am more for substance than looks which is why I listed the 'internal' mods. The stopping and going is the best bit afterall!

I'm a fan of the more subtle look mate defo do the boot, would suit the clean style you have going on, its dead easy. And FREE!
Hair dryer to heat the glue up, use a peice of string to get behind the letters once they are tacky, and "saw" them off. Pick as much of the glue off by hand (you may have to reheat) by rolling you're finger over it, then use some bug and tar remover to get the rest off. Nice bit of polish and bob's you're uncle:-

Thanks to Flaps for the tips when I did mine
NB just don't go crazy with the hair dryer!
