Scooby vs Evo 4.
My freind got his evo last week after pulling out of buying another scoob as he owned one last year but had to sell due to relliability problems.
We got togeather and took some snaps of our motors,hope u like them.

yer he had a classic before the evo but had problem after problem with it so sold up then went to but another one but got fed up with looking at ones only to find out they were cat c and ds after doing hp checks.so went down the evo route.

good pics i just swoped my evo4 for a 400bhp 300zx the evo is good but defo aint no scooby plus the 4 is just so weak and un tuneable i only had it for 2 months and then only drove it for 3 weeks before i fired my scoob back up

4's suffer alot of problems unfortunately crankwalk being one of the biggies (its a full engine rebuild job which isnt cheap ) along with the AYC which is pretty tempremental on these lovely cars though and no, not that tunable compared with the 5+ (about 350bhp is your limit on the engine).

Evo 4 is just as tuneable as any others it is just a lottery if the crank walks or not! If it does not worth re-building just get an Evo 8 engine and stick that in.
Oh yeah try and pick up some Brembos from the later Evo's as well.

Last year I had the Evo 6 and my bro had the classic scooby!!! unfortunatly my brothers STi 4 wagon which was completly standard(cats all in place 276bhp) would pull on my Evo when ever we had a straight line blast against each other in any gear(evo was rolling roaded & 322bhp)
I finally saw sense and got rid of the Evo and bought a STi Version 6!!! couldnt have my younger brother have a faster car then me!!!!!
