Default New Wheels

Got these today just need to get some rubber now or they won't work very well. They are Oz Prodrive P-WRC1 18X7.5J. Anyone recommend the right size tyres? thinking of getting Toyo R888's

You want 225/40/18 for your blob mate.

I ran Mich PS2's but Vredestein Sessantas are a no brainer for the performance and money

VREDESTEIN TYRES / CAR / VREDESTEIN ULTRAC SESSANTA - 225/40R18 92Y XL TL :: £88.40 :: Car Tyres - MPV Tyres - People Carrier Tyres :: R18" - 225/40/18, 225/40 R 18 ::

Thanks for that I'm running the PS2's at the moment on the standard 17's and they're fantastic tyres, but the Sessantas seem to be getting good reports. I just read the other thread in the wheel & tyres section.

Camskill do seem to have the best prices, don't the tyre fitting bays get a bit arsey about fitting tyres that you did'nt buy from them?

Not at all in my experience.

I pay £40 for fitted/balanced and they really look after the wheels.

Well I'm now looking at the Vredestein Sessantas, so if you could pm me a fitted and balanced price on these in 225/40/18 that would be a help, You're not that far away from me.

Bit of a disaster this week, had the new tyres fitted by mags at Ruislip tyres (cheers mate) and it seems that one of the wheels is not true. Tried to balance the wheel and the centre hole is off centre. That one must have slipped through quality control at Oz.

Anyway dealer is trying to source a replacement now so will post up piccies of them on the car when I get the new wheel.
