new car - 2002 Impreza STi prodrive
After selling the mazda 3 and the sti wagon, we realised we needed to buy a car ASAP. Ended cycling to work for a week, before we bought this (which we are very very happy with, stunning car).
More photos to come, soon!!!

cheers all, really enjoying the car, went out for a drive today, starting to enjoy driving again
plans are:
change the standard headunit... need something with a USB and no bleeding tapedeck (WTF - dont know when I last saw a tape, let alone a tapedeck).
brakes first (will need some work by beginning of next year) - keeping the brembos, will go for uprated discs, pads, braided lines and decent fluid.
suspension next front and rear struts and coilovers
then after that we will go for 400bhp mark Saw a thread earlier and it seems rather easy to get these cars up the 400 mark, so around that number would be great! Whats required for this? Turbo, FPR, fuel pump and a remap? Are the STi intercooler and injectors good enough?
Wheres good to take the car in Surrey area? I am in Bletchingley, so right on the border of Kent and Surrey. I know AFR Tuning are down in Crawley.

Hi Graham,
A nice bug-eye STI, a nice upgrade is a de-cat/fuel pump/re-map to around 340 bhp.... and then when you get bored.... big turbo and injectors later.
Enjoy.

would rather just go straight to 400 will just get the supporting stuff done first (brakes and suspension) and then start collecting parts. Besides the missus still needs to drive it, every now and then.......
However its a rather good point about the injectors, probably worthwhile adding some into the 400 plans, even if its just for engine safety purposes! Especially when all the other bits are going on and the remap.
Another thought.... should I be loking at changing the TMIC to a different TMIC (more efficient) or a FMIC? Or dont bother....
