One way of getting Ceramic and Colour Coating done at the same time
Had a confirmation earlier today from Zircotec that the Ceramic & Coloured coating of my Exhaust Headers, Up & Down Pipes and Turbo have been done.
A special thanks to Chy at Pennine Subaru for the recommendation and for Mark at Lateral Performace for supplying the parts.
The colour will go nicely with the Vernier Pulleys.

Cheers all for the positive comments
K8lla - price will vary especially on length of say up and down pipes but lets say benefits will be worth it in terms of responsivness of the engine....after all Litchfields use this it on their Type 25 and Chy highly recommends it so who am I to argue.
Colours come in various ranges as well. Time for ceramic and colour coating is 7-10 days. Mine was done less than 10 days.
Check out their website.
Home Page:
Zircotec high temperature coatings, ceramic coatings, engine, automotive and motorsport, exhaust manifold and header coatings.

If you contact them then ask for Peter Whyman and say Jag recommend you - nice and helpful chap, he will look after you. They also guarantee their services.

Cheers guys - much appreciated! Hope my pics will inspire other likeminded scoob owners with the attention to detail my own scoob is receiving both from an asthetic and performance point
Sparktrix - I could not believe the closeness of the colour to that of the vernier pulleys. Many say these pulleys are a waste of time but not according to Chy @ Pennine Subaru and RCM I'm sure who ofcourse sell them!
STI_Baly - As soon as i saw the colour I went for it...reminds me of your "beast" to be colour!
TingTongPJ - Don't you start m8.....haven't i already done enough? Don't worry you'll be testing her on the strip! As you say it is a first on SN - usually you see pics of scoobs etc...Zircotec also confirmed that they believe I quote "this is the first Subaru manifold in Ultra Blue and definitely the first complete Subaru system in Ultra Blue". And there's more to come!

Cheers chaps! Think I'm going to have to sell some raffle tickets to see who has the first go
As Banny says, Chy at Pennine Subaru has pulled out all the stops on this one, as this kind of "attention to detail" concerning the exhaust system is not something we have seen on SN before. It also helps raise the standards of modifications of our scoobs as a whole. I'm positive that even the chaps at the household known tuning firms such as RCM/Zen/Enginetuner/Scoobyclinic etc would give their professional nod of approval on this one.
Here is a sneek preview of the block:

as some of you know we don't make a habit of posting here or anywhere for that matter...
but we would just like to take time to mention to those following this thread ,that when we are finished the collection of photos we have taken to document the build will be made public
in the mean time we will get on with building one seriously high spec build !! and also thanks to JP for his commitment we just know he will enjoy this monster cheers
