Default My New V4 Type R

Hi Gents

This is my 1st impreza after selling my evo 9 early in the year. Ive imported it form Japan myself and whilst waiting for it to come couldnt make up my mind if I wanted it or not.

After picking it up this week im well happy with the way they drive. Its standard bar a set of coilovers and some silly wheels.

Its only done 30k and is about as good a type R as I think you can get so well well happy

Plan to change the wheels this week then get cracking with some engine work in the next couple of months

Thanks Jamie

That is very nice example with low milage, a rarity I think. I have a typeR on order too, well it is in the UK just waiting on the DVLA now and I too am getting second thoughts.

Get yourself over to type-r-ra.co.uk

Use V-Power and octane booster to be on the safe side. You can't remap the V4 (MY97-98) std ECU. You will have to upgrade. I have just had a Simtek fitted in mine which has been mapped for V-Power & NF octane booster.
Running sweet as a nut.

Yes mate planning a bit more than that My last car was a evo 9 which i had a bit of work done to give it just over 500hp. It was a gt30 and forged, so looking to take this a bit further
