What was the cup for? I was there yesterday in my Gtir. I did a few runs and got a new pb for me. 12.06 at 112.66mph.

Smokingkills? Is that your car in the video? What spec is it?
I didn't see anyone in the 11s yesterday (mind you I left at 2.30) in what I would call a proper road cars. ie only bikes and big V8 stuff were pretty quick.

It was pretty quiet while I was there yesterday. Take away all the FTOs and FIATs and there'd have hardly been anyone there.

What were the classes? wonder if I won anything yesterday?

Yep thats me. 11.64@122.5 was my best earlier on in the day, the car (& me) suffered with the heat after the 1st few runs.

Mine (v. briefly) is a enginetuner built 2.5 with 321t, simtek & 6sp box.

Martynj yours was impresive today But I think you didn't collect your prize because you didn't want to own up to winning the other trophy

I could do with a 6speed box for my Gtir, I've got a close ratio box and only 10mph left before I run out of 5th on the strip. If I ever get anywhere near 400bhp I think I'll need a new box or higher rev limit. 122mph suggests alot of power, how much have you got? (I've only got 300)

455/520 were the last rr figures. The 6sp does need an extra gear change on the 1/4, I need to hook up 5th compared to PPG which would only need 4 changes.

Yes that was me. Saturday did seem realy quiet. I saw alot of Subarus, the commentator said the Bristol Subarus were there.

I don't have launch control either, unless you count a modena front lsd. My Gtir is very standard engine and fuelling wise. It's just a filter, exhaust, front mount and 1.1bar boost on the standard turbo, engine and gearbox. It's running around 290bhp on 1100kg.

All my 60fts were 1.6 or 1.7 but from inside it felt like I had a wheelspin problem.

Hi Shakespeare here

Judging by all the posts on this thread it looks like you had a good time at Shakey last June. Yes the weather was good for the third round of the PSDS, and it looks like the track was good for you guys too. PB’s and class wins. What more could you ask for. Well done and thanks for all the great comments and photos btw.

Now I probably don’t need to remind you that round 4 (the penultimate round) will be taking place in September will I! Oh alright It’s practice day on Saturday 5th and race day Sunday 6th. Furthermore it’s the PSDS Finals in October on 17th/18th where it could be a Scooby benefit meet as the lads from the Bath & Bristol Scoobys Club are coming on mass along with guys from the Midland Scoobies Club who might be taking on Subaru Central in a special Heads-Up havoc competition on the track.

If the club wishes to have a bit of dedicated parking in our Car Club area to show your cars off in on any of these days then drop me an e-mail at enquiries@shakespearecountyraceway.co.uk, or If your there in person representing the club then stop by the Signing-On Office and say hello so that I can give you a couple of shouts over the PA during the day. Thanks again for the support. It’s been great reading all of the other posts on this forum. Hope to see you at the track real soon.

Regards
Jeremy (aka Shakespeare)
