Default Engine bay part 2

New inlet manifold and turbo inlet hose fitted. Took 3 hours What a job!



Needs a damn good clean when the weather gets better and a few more bits painted

Havnt got a how too but there is one by carl davey somewhere. i just took bits off and remebered where they went. Wanted to do the parralel fuel mod but spent to much money lately and want a new turbo so will do it in the near future.

looks great bud i did mine in white not so long back it really brightens the engine bay up..its great fun trying to re fit everything with out marking it tho right??

ha ha yeah matt. Did get the brain working a bit. the inklet hose was a f****r much bigger than the original

lol i had game with my inlet hose too but mines a early top feed inlet shame ur inlet seems more covered than the early 1s here mine might do my header tank now too after seeing yours bud

Matt did u paint your alternator. Wanted to no if i can powder coat it or not as it looks a mess

I really like that idea of reverse mounting the inlet, you cut down on the piping by 2-3ft easy. I like my air-con a bit too much though to get rid of it.

milzy yeah i painted it mate just used some iched primer first i think to power coat u would have to strip it all down to just the case for when it goes in the oven....jiff as for reveresing the inlet its a great mon]d and makes all the differnce iv also flipped the intercooler and rotated the turbo housing this loses nearly 10ft ov pipe work and you wouldnt beleave the differnce it makes bud
