Photoshop request
My wheels are in need of a refurb, and I was wondering whether to change the colour. Could you photoshop the car with gunmetal grey, matt black, shiny black and rally gold (they're gold flitter atm)
Cheers in advance.
(any chance of a step by step guide on how it's done, the photoshop, not the wheel refurb! )

I'm new to photoshop so just as a practice
I opened your image and used the elliptical tool to highlight both wheels, i then went into IMAGE- ADJUSTMENTS and replaced the colour playing about with the hue, saturation and light.
Hope it gives some kind of idea

As above, but create layers for each wheel selection. You also need to let the discs,calipers,centre cap,nuts shine thru to make it look a lil bit more realistic. You can either do it the quick n nasty way and just cut out (delete) the selections with the lassoo or pen tool combined with the eraser. Or the way I do it is to create a layer mask on each wheel selection before you change the hue, levels, brightness and contrast. This is much more accurate and you can correct mistakes easily using a brush an alternating between painting detail or removing detail using black n white as your foreground/background colours with the X key. Finally play with the opacity levels to blend it in;

Thanks for the efforts guys, I'm not convinced by the different colours though now I think the picture I've chosen could of been better, the grey tyres don't do the wheels justice. I'll give another photo a shot with you tips
