my new defi's, pics
well after fitting them over the last couple days, im glad to say that my defi install is finished. all brand new parts. all done by myself. which i have to say, i am proud of. saved me a few quid on getting them fitted too. hoo ray!!!
only a couple of pics im afraid. the carbon fibre pod doesnt look anywhere near as good in photo as it does in the flesh. but you get the idea. the quality and fit of the pod is purely superb. it really does bring the whole defi setup and the dash to life.
i used the sensor adaptors from scoobyparts, above no.3 and under the alternator. in my mind much better than a sandwich. i have to say that the whole job wasnt as bad as i thought it would be.
many thanks to Jason (who owns two of the guages.lol ), and to tim at scoobyparts.

cheers matey. youll have to come and see them. if it werent for you i wouldnt have them done, so,.. top honours to you. you wouldnt beleive how long it took to get the pod clipped in. damn near an hour, it has no flex in it. lol. but i got there in the end.

not cheap, but the quality is as good if not better than the defi one. which you have to paint remember. so the cost of the defi and paint wont be far off this one. But, i have the last one in the country.

Sweet, loved it when I had mine put in. Unfortunatly i'm not the most mechanically minded so I always end up paying a premium to have mine fitted by professionals 
They look like 60mm ones as well not 52mm? I went for 60mm.

HT04:- Are your other dials coloured Green or Red when you turn your lights on?..Mine are Green(being a Blob eye05), but Defi's are either in red/white/blue.
So how do you think they match if they are different colours?, do they look ok?.

, but when you got a spare minute could you take a pic which shows both the Defi's and the speedo/rev counter all in one pic, just to see the colour mix?.

oh i know the quality is good but wait till evening/night when the reflection of the carbon hits the window and you can see it when driving ....does get a little annoying but learn to ignore it
