Default World One's Project 08 STI (The Crimson Knight)

We began this project earlier this year, and while the progress has been as fast as we would've liked, the car is still a blast and has received a very warm response. I took it to car shows throughout the summer and I switch off daily driving it to work as well. Our ultimate goal is to make this a competitive Limited-Class Time Attack race car, putting out around 425-450 wheel horsepower.

Current mods:

TurboXS FMIC
Invidia Catless Downpipe
Invidia Q300 Catback Exhaust
Walbro Fuel Pump
Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
SPT Sport Grille
Volk TE37 Seibon Edition, 19x9.5 +43 5x114.3 (street/show setup)
Toyo T1-R Tires 255/30/19 (street/show setup)

Planned/Upcoming mods:

Element Tuning Hydra Standalone EMS
Element Tuning GT65 Bolt-On Turbo
Modified stock injectors
Whiteline front and rear sway bars
Kartboy short shifter
KW Variant 3 or Ohlins Flag Series coilovers
Fikse Profil 5 or Profil 13, 18x9.5 (race setup)
Toyo R1-R or R888 Tires 265/35/18 (race setup)
StopTech 6-piston front / 4-piston rear big brake kit
Sparco Evo 3 seats
Sparco harnesses
Roll cage

Tentatively planned exterior mods:

Seibon carbon fiber hood
Seibon carbon fiber hatch
APR front air dam
APR rear spoiler (if produced)
Painted black roof

Current photos:

I'll be sure to update this thread as we progress on this project

Why do people keep persisting with quad exit exhausts on these things, it can't exactly be free flowing in that backbox compared to a good single exit exhaust.

why not just run a single thruflow in say 3" or 3.5" pipe as the exhaust looks like it has to many bends that will restrict the performance just my opinion like the wheels its still got a long way before being a timeattack car though nice car though

Quad exit is free flowing compared to a single exit I know I have one, My exhaust and air intake were more efficient than the engine

Yours is a dual exit isn't it?

Yours is a pretty good design as far as systems for the hatchbacks go, but there are a lot, like the ones in the OP with one or two harsh 90 degree turns, and sometimes one for every exit coming out of the backbox

I think companies are merely offering them to fit in with the rear bumper/"diffuser"

I don't think it'll be long before we see traditional single exit exhausts fitted to these, as ultimately the best exhaust is going to be the one with the straightest path and and fewest restrictions, that's not something you're going to get if you're making twists and turns trying to fill the two gaps on the back.
