WRC Corsica 2008 a few snaps.
Here we go a few from me.
First we started in Monaco and decided to walk the GP circuit, what a place and the carparks are a bit special.
Here we are in the service area and the teams are rebuilding the cars after WRC Spain.
The SWRT team taking 5 for some lunch inbetween setting up home for the next few days.
A few here of the SWRT VIP area
Mr Prodrive himself.
Gareth Jones and an interview with Neil cole from Dave.
At the start ramp.
And the calm before the storm
Here we go day one first stage about 3 bends in from the start an early bath for someone, ooopppps.
In a convoy
Off the start line
Two brothers
Over night halt, a few bobs worth in here.
One of many I took of the Island
Sunday morning and SWRT cooking our bacon and eggs
Here we go we all talk about STI this and STI that, well here is the man Mr STI himself Mr Shigeo Sugaya what a nice bloke
We even found lions and tigers on the side of the main road
.
Hope you enjoy just a small selection of the ones I took to share with you all
Si will be along shortly with a few more i'm sure

Great stuff. I think the Hawkeye looks more of a rally animal than the scoopless Hatch.
Fantastic rough driving roads in Corsica any time of year. I recommend everyone takes their car there one day. Just don't fall of the side of any mountains.

Well done on getting there! Not the easiest or cheapest place to get to out of season.
I've done a couple of WRC events there and really enjoyed it. The island is just a fantastic place to visit....so good in fact I spent a week there during easter doing tourist stuff.
Looks like you did well with the weather it's not always like that in October, could you see snow on the central mountains?
I'll try and dig some of mine out from 02 and 03.

No snow on the mountains just wall to wall sunshine, looks like we were lucky Just a shame we had to drag all the wet weather gear along but at least we had the benefit of not needing to use it
