Gold wheels & white Scoob is not a good look IMHO; well played for changing it - much better!

Really nice looking car that mate. Colour of the wheels really complements the white. Love the stance with the coilovers aswell. Well done.

Cheers all

The coilovers where from the APEX/BC Groupbuy .. so around £500.
The ride is better and smoother than the OEM JDM Shocks were which really quite harsh and really bouncy.. I had them setup at Subaru4you and they are about 8turns towards hardness, fully undone its a really comfy ride.

Seconded, tho lower looks much better.
More importantly though, have you got rid of your Girls Aloud cd from the fuel protest yet? Lol

They're standard on hawkeye STi's

Keep us updated on the APEX/BC's and how you get on with them Vash, looks well and I'm looking for alternatives to the standard shocks (do JDM's suffer from the same problems as UK spec ones?)

pmsl - "last season" - you fashion victim you!

I must admit my choice of wheels was a toss up between gunmetal and gold but I still think either looks just as good - funny though - I thought you would have stuck with your original wheels as they looked good on the car.

As for "proper" brakes, changed my front discs for Godspeed grooved items and had some Goodrich braided lines put on. Also had it lowered since the protest, so even more cash gone lol.

I'll consider what to do next after I fit my Prodrive sports cat, decat and intercooler hoses, get it remapped and then see if it's still capable of stopping within what I regard as a "safe" amount of time .

Were you at the McRae gathering? Didn't see you or the car (but then there were a fair few of us there hehe).

Any plans for further engine mods?

Glad to hear you have done something to your brakes.. Stoppings a real bonus

My shocking truth about the gathering was ..... I over slept... Still kicking myself.. but I was very hung over :P

Engine mods.. well I want to say no.. Shes running 355bhp at the mo and quick enough.. But I'm sure at somepoint I will go down the FMIC route and get silly with it .. but for now.. im good :P

looks good. White Hawkeyes rule

Which suspension did you have on previously? Was it the Prodrive setup? If so would be interested in a comparison!

Standard shocks.. very firm... great cornering.. but really uncomfortable and really bouncy ride. Its a JDM so It would have been on what ever settings they come with not ProDrive..

The new shocks are far better and can be set from comfy to bone shacking.
I have had them set up well but I will be going to Powerstation at some point to get them done there. ( I think there is more grip to be found )

Vash

I overtook you the other day on the M27 by the Hamble river in the heavy rain. I was in a mates car, not mine. Looked very aggressive mate. Nice job.
