Default according to my mate, this is my "old blokes" car.

got this on the weekend, as I have wanted one for a whilst and as there has been little to no summer this year the **** has dropped out of convertibles so got a cracking deal

I have to say thanks to J4CKO for his help as I was p-ming him asking for advice, it would seem according to what he has said its a 2.0 HPT 185bhp, all I can say is its bloody quick for what it is and the power is great, completely different delivery of power to the impreza I had originally bought it to keep it for a short whilst and then sell it on, after the last few days I dont think I will be selling it though, guess I will have to buy a flat cap and a pipe and some comfy slippers

dosen't look much at the minute and I have only lightly cleaned it so dont expect much, and yes the wheels are going!!

yer saabs are pretty quick.... in a straight line. i recently drove a aero turbo and its a super fast. just has a bit of a stigma attached to them.

I love driving it, I would even consider swapping the insurance to make this my everyday car and put the impreza on a limited mileage. I think its the fact its still quick but also a little less in ya face

Stage 1 ECU Performance Upgrade for Saab GM 900 2.0T

They do have a certain feel to them, hard to put your finger on, pretty wobbly but still enjoyable.

Looks great for what you paid, its amazing what people pay for these new, I like mine but I would have paid 25 grand for it.

Dont know what the stigma is with Saabs, I got them partly for the lack of image !

Got an MY04 SAAB Aero with upgrades and its p#sses on an awfull lot of cars.

That Cabrio is a nice example, it is amazing how many people slag SAAB's off until they drive them and the power they have comes as a nice suprise.

For me Subaru's have had there day, too many old sh#t box examples around which drags down the nicer examples and the newer models.

They are still a good drive but only for short journeys, too much noise with no refinement, i need all mod cons now. I am after all 38 now, SAAB all the way.
