Great pics.

Hopefully next year ill take my Impreza on track, ive only ever been a passenger but even that was great fun!

When being a passenger I met the lad who drives the Skyline, he seems do do track days on a regular basis.

How did your Impreza cope with the stresses of the track?

No way That's not good I thought that was your car I saw out on track but I didn't have my camera out at the time because I was busy in the pits.

Was it true that the evo rolled on the sighting laps? I didn't see it from where I was but I heard that was what happened and I also heard that someone rolled a Civic type R.

It was after about 6 laps i think. He was certainly driving it to its limits before it went off.

Have just done some expensive shopping this morning, so am hoping the new engine will be fitted in the next week or two.

From the photos I'd seen I couldn't work out how he'd done that on the sighting laps but that was what the recovery driver told us yesterday. I guess rumours get around.

Shame about the engine but it sounds like you will have it sorted soon

there was a white Evo in our session too that the black Evo was following, the white car overtook us after Paddock, the black Evo then over took us all at Druids and rolled on the next lap.

Apparently there were 7 complaints about the driving of the driver of the 5 that rolled Surely that can't be right, that's a lot of people to upset in 6 laps.

I think he was just a bit gung-ho and paid for it tbh...he did well to get 7 complaint when there were only 22 cars and he started fifth. I certainly didn't complain so it must have been those he was over taking towards the back...the six laps include the two sighting laps, so he did very well

maybe it's the rumour mill again...I'm sure writing off his pride and joy will stick in his mind more than a few stern words from a marshal!!
