Default My 94 WRX STi

Number 82 of 100.

Its dirty - these are the pics from the advert - will get some better pics soon (hopefully with black alloys lol)

I want to change the bonnet grills, the front grill and de-tango it.

Might see about some fog light covers too.

Hi m8.

I dont like any aftermarket light on a Subaru/EVO/Honda or any other JDM sportscar. Makes them look very poor IMO.

You should clean your engine bay.

But anyway. A STI II is a nice car throughout!!!

Saw this car at pistonheads..... are you satisfied with it?

If its a 1994 STi then its one of the original v1's mate, not a v2

Lovely looking car mate, just not so sure about the afterburners or S U B A R U lettering on a JDM car, but thats just me being picky

If we're being pedantic, then its a 1994 WRX STI (as opposed to a 1995 WRX STI Type-RA). The first numbered models were the MY96 series production STI 2s.....

I like original STIs: Id remove the nasty rear spoiler and rear lamps. Later type STI lamps wouldnt look out of place, even though they wouldnt be original, but its a shame that the original alloy spoiler is missing.

A nice set of antracite wheels, clear indicators and STi rear lights and it'll be sorted... oh and as already mentioned, a damned good clean under the bonnet

It looks like an extended Alfa 156 part and quite unlike later Subaru spoilers.

That's Penshaw Monument in the background. You must have travelled a while from Hull to come up here for it.

It did originally; we must have exceeded their bandwidth allowance. It was a publicity shot of the original 1994 STI. sti69's picture shows the spoiler more clearly though.

What are you on about mate? The first numbered editions were very late 93 and through 94
100 saloons and 100 wagons
Due to demand they produced another 200 of each hence the 100 run and the 200 run!
Where does it mention Type RA in the post?

What Im 'on about' is obvious from my post. It is not correct (hence pedantic) to refer to a 1994 STI as an STI 1. Subaru did not number the STI models until the series production cars were introduced for the 1996 model year: the STI 2. Subaru manufactured the first 250PS models in 1994 (not 1993, the second run of 200 of each retro converted type was made immediately after the first, in 1994): they then offered a 275PS WRX STI Type-RA in 1995, which was a completely different vehicle.

I mentioned the 1995 STI Type-RA to demonstrate my point.
