well ok not really....
had a nice day today so i spent a while giving my newist aquisition a good going over.
i also tried out the new autoglym aqua wax stuff... dont really rate it. very greasy and smears when attempting to buff. i shall stick to my usual super resin polisn and nattys paste wax.
some after pics of my new baby...
i know shes not perfect, but for a car thats only 2 years younger than my fiancee, she scrubs up well (the car i mean )
opinions and thoughts welcome

I used to have a graphite grey 1.9!
Looks lovely. Did you not get on with the Aqua Wax? I found it really good on the other halfs beemer!
And great plate would suit an M3 better though!

Mate, no offence to your impreza, which was a beaut, but that 205, "looks" like you paid the same as u did for the impreza lol.
Simply stunning, with examples like this around, we'll soon see the price of these rising like theres no tomorrow
great job and great find

i think the pics do flatter a couple of areas, ie paint fade on the bonnet, a few scratches here and there, lucky me i suppose. but i have seen worse examples floating around. only really had a couple niggles since ownership, yesterday being my first opportunity to wash her properly.

Nice. I'd be very proud of that.
Seen a few of your posts on 205s and another forum I'm on a lad is doing a DIY MI16. Getting more and more tempted to get another one
Been thinking of GTIRs too but my last one cost way more than my scoob to keep going Not really solving the "cheap thrills" idea!

for a car of twenty years old it looks top notch mate, 205 and golf gti mk2 i really like my one should be up for sale soon if interested lol.
the paint work has come up really well the swirls werent that bad anyway due to your high maintenace but it has brought it up nicely one thing about the carnuba was that its tough to get of but gives a lovely finish. yeh i was thinking about colour coding everything i now have got the fog light covers and p1 splitter also turbo timer and wired in a boost gauge. ill jeep you up to date chap.
