Tango Tango come in
Enough was enough, and a year thinking about it was enough! Detangoed my car this morning.
The info on here was first class, I had the guide on my PC all ready for reference. Got stuck a bit thinking there were more screws than the 3, as the bottom of the light just didn't want to know, but after a few choice words at high dps it played ball. Didn't do the paniting of the insides, not my cup of tea, and anyway they are slightly smoked to begin with.
Here are my tools, no need for the oven, so people thinking thats all you need, not so, I din't fancy the oven either:-
These are the troublesome objects that were holding the light in tightly, just keep pulling and wiggling:-
All done, before they went back together I added a bead of clear silicon seal round the edge jst to ensure of a water seal:-
.
All in all took me about 3 1/2 hours.

Yep I saw ur post too , its a good body mod to do really, and has a real big impact to the way the car looks. Glade I bite the bullet and done it, as its always been a job to do, just a bit nervious of taken apart the headlight, but to be really honest there is nothing to it, just take your time, you can't do it in 10mins, set aside at least 3 hours, then you know where you are!.
