Pic Request - Newage Boot Install AND/OR Sound Deadening
Hey all, last month I picked up 2 subs in a box and 2 amps (thanks frayz) to install in the scoob. The subs are already in one box side-by-side.
I'd like to see people's installs for inspiration really and also people's jobs with Dynamat or equivalent in the boot and door cards. If you do the boot underside can it be covered with something?

Here is a quick guide to what i did in my Blobeye. Now you obviously wont install the exact same setup as me but mine does have sensational sound quality and balance with massive midrange and bass
Firstly i removed the standard things they call speakers
Then i fully dynamatted the doors and made up 18mm thick MDF spacers
then i fitted a set of Focal 165K2P component speakers
Then came the build for the subwoofers which comprised of a fibreglass enclosure built into a false floor behind the passenger front seat, dynamatted floor. The subs are JL8w3 and everything is powered by a JL 300/4 amplifier
covered
and the system was finished off with a Kenwood DDX7029 headunit

The subs are perfectly safe as they have a metal grille that covers them as well as the mat
The Amp is the latest JL Audio with built in fans so it keeps everything nice and cool
