Smile Midnight Runner's New Mota

Ok I have gone and done it, I have upgraded from my WRX to STI power!

Actually I did it last Thursday but I have been far to busy out enjoying the car to post any pictures! The weather has been a bit pants so I have only got a couple of photo's on the one nice day. Sorry about the quality as I only had my camera phone - and the Mrs says I can't have a new phone and a new car. Let me know what you think

2004 WRX

Really sorry to see it go as it was much loved. I was all set to start with making the car faster but made the mistake of taking an STI out and fell in love, and eventually ended up with my new baby.

2005 WRX STI

Originally I wasn't looking for a blue one but couldn't help myself with this. To say I'm chuffed with it is an understatement

cheers guys I'm loving it, I was looking at a silver one, another blue one and a white JDM hawkeye, but when I saw this one I had to have it! Plus blue ones are the fastest aren't they?

Its as it was out the factory at the minute, but I'm already eyeing up the mods; you know how slippery the slope is!

Like the idea of the splitter a lot but I plan on lowering it and my WRX was only on 25mm prodrive springs and that was close to catching without one!! Does the flexi with stand speed bumps?

Mud flaps are deffo on the agenda, and I'll tell you what I forgot how easy it is to keep a car clean when its not black

Cheers

Mine's lowered 30mm and i've not even brushed a speed bump. there's a bit of flex in the HTA PU splitter so even parking against kerbs won't break it, couldn't even tell after i backed away from it.
