why wont it let me upload pics? asks for url address

is it onto a thread like this, or the "veiw my scooby" feature?
if its to pop them on a thread, the pics themselves need to be hosted on a website, like Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket, with the http: links them posted in the little picture box in the reply box. (3rd box from the right)
if its onto "view my scooby", you should be able to upload pics from your pc/laptop straight too it.
