agree the roof vent is a little on the large side for my liking. but at the end of the day if you like it that's all that matters.

other than that looks like a nice clean motor.

The silver one ain't. I took the pic about two minutes before I brought her. But I did test drive the silver one two weeks before I test drove the Black which I brought.
Silver is very nice a little bit cheaper than the one I brought. It had about 75000 miles on it. Slightly modified. Had a exhaust (Loud but good) the bloke said the rear diff has been replaced with a aftermarket one. Gauges on the piller lovely. Only thing that put me off was mileage. But this was the first time I test drove a scooby so I probably missed things. Its still for sale at MIRMOTORS.

Just to let you know fella that is a version 5 sti not a version 4, it has the crystal front end, newer interior and the later momo steering but stunning nonetheless!

Cheers for clearing that up it was sold as a version five and people hav said on this forum for the age its a V4. So I suppose I will need to worry about the engine abit more I've been told V5 have a reputation. I'm running it on t99 fuel.

in general, look after the engine and it'll look after you. plenty of oil changes, warm it up and cool it down and you should be fine. and yes run it on on the higher end fuels. maybe with some octane booster for extra peace of mind. ideally get it remapped for the 99 ron.

If I remap it to 99ron would I loose power. Well at the moment I always warm her up let her idle for two minutes but I've some sought of turbo timer which does the cool down.

If you remap to 99ron with basic mods such as a panel filter and full decat you will get more power (always a good thing lol) and safety for the engine as it is mapped for the fuel.

Well at the moment my cat is starting to blow slightly and there is a small hole on my apexi exhaust (tailpipe). They hav said to consider getting a new exhaust straight through but would need to get a chip or something.

If i was to replace the standard panel filter with another one what one would u recommend.
