Nice car to add to your collection
Probably one of the very few ones left nowadays with the raw feeling since modern cars have no feedback.
How much did you get it for and how many miles has it got?
You can PM me
One day if funds allow...

The car was £26k brand new with the touring and super touring packs. It's my daily drive so i'm gonna have to put up with some winter driving for a few months but come summer time i guess i'll really understand what it's all about

TBH, i'm not a fan one bit of open top driving. If a hard top came up at the right price in the right colour i would probably snap it up. Did i just buy the wrong car or what?

It looks you did buy the wrong car....... should have bought the Exige S, hard top as standard.

Funnily enough - it was the Exige S which i test drove to begin with. Unfortunately they are out of my price range and i figured that going from 6 years in a 4wd car to an insane rwd car was asking for trouble. I think i'll run this for 2-3 years and providing i don't park it backwards in a field on a regular basis, i shall look into said insane car

Snap!

You didn't buy the wrong car. I got mine in March and I love it. I haven't missed the type-r one bit (apart from shopping, carrying passengers and whenever I've needed to transport anything larger than a small bag)

Awesome cars.

Brun, just out of interest, what tyres are you running on it, and how do you find them in the current conditions?

Mine has the Yoko A048's on atm Not ideal for winter!! Need to swap them over asap, but not sure what to go for.

If you have the 135R then your AO48s have 195 section front tyres, so the regular fitment 175 Bridgestones or Yokos will be too small for your wheels.

A few of the Exige guys use Goodyear Eagle F1's, some others use Toyo's. A lot recommend AO39's for an all weather tyre above anything else, but by all accounts they are pretty difficult to get hold of.
