one wire goes to the battery,the other two go somewhere else ?

+ OR - on the battery?

If its on the positive then i'd say amp wiring, on the negative perhaps a circular earth kit.

i would say its to do with the ignition.

thanks chaps,
the strange thing was i looked for it on the splitfire website and there is nothing on there about an earthing kit,only plugs and leads.
what is the purpose of it anyone?

Its 'supposed' to clean up the electrical signals from your sensors by earthing the engine or some such bullsh*t.. To be honest I think a fudging great block of metal does a much better job at earthing its self than a load of fly leads to the battery
