Why? Didn't really look any good on an STI8, looks worse on a classic.

as i will be upgrading ic to sti8 i was advised to go with scoop as to draw more air in as i will be putting better turbo on etc so the scoop wasnt just for the look

I have to agree.

I would get something like one of these ETSRacing - IC Scoops, Heat Vents www.etsracing.com

Will the extra performance of the bigger intercooler compensate for the extra drag that the scoop will create plus the extra lift on the front end it produces ?????

I prefer the STi 7 scoop personally, lets in more air than the standard one but isn't as big. But if your happy -that's all that matters

Don't like it at all it looks completely daft on a classic Impreza but as the others say if you like it then fair play

90 year olds

I dont mind them from straight on.... its from the side that i dont like as it dosnt go with the lines of the classic in my view, had one on mine and it last two days

But as youve posted it helps with the bigger intercooler and theres plenty of bits on my scoob that alot of people wont like

As long as your happy thats what counts

Personally I don't like the bigger scoop on classics but if it serves a purpose i.e. more ait for a bigger tmic then fair enough.

Equally though, I hate scoobs with rally graphics but it takes all kinds.

As long as your happy then that's all that matters. I got the same sort of feedback when I change my wheels away from gold to silver.

James.
