Alfa!

Wow, that Alfa looks in perfect condition! Don't see many of the
155's around. Is that a V6 or a TS? Like the front, has a little of
the old Alfa 75. Bit of an Alfisti myself, I have owned Alfetta,
164 and 156 in the past.

'lo!
Unfortunately it's ony a 2.0 16v TS, and not the V6. *sigh*
She still goes quite well though, quite a clean car... no dinks, a crack in the rear reflector panel just below the rear alfa badge and that's all really.
They are not a veryy common car, most of them seem be be down south, Derby downwards really... dunno why... they just never seem to have cottoned on very much up in scotland.
As far as i know there's only 3 or 4 in Dunfermline (where i live) and i know all of them by their Reg no's... sad innit?

I like Alfas
My old man had a 75 2.0TS Veloce in red with all the bits and bobs many years ago. I loved that car
Including the crazy handbrake
Was there not a special edition of the 155 called the Silverstone or something like that? Think it came with black alloys or similar - only ever saw one on the road - very nice!

Nice!
A good friend of mines is something of a fan of Italian motors...
Currently owns an Alfa 164 3l 24v V6 Cloverleaf...
Very nice in Black....He also lives in the Clackmannashire area, so keep yer eyes peeled when out on the road!
Ross.

The Gza - if I remember correctly the Silverstone was the special edition that Alfa used to get their dodgy aerodynamics approved for the BTCC. They had blocks provided with the car (in the Boot), which you could use to jack up the rear spoiler, aswell as a a low front splitter. And this was what led on to things like the Laguna Airflow, and all the other various winged wonder super tourers that are now virtually dead.

reffro, yes you're exactly right... as long as they met those rules they could run quite happily in the BTCC
neil, i'll have to keep an eye out for you then. when is it getting fitted??

Hello guys!
Just thought i'd post a few pix of my beloved.
It's not a Scoob i know... but it's a hell of a lot cheaper
It's standard apart from a K&N panel and a sports back box.
Cuore Sportivo!
