New AP Racing 356mm 6 pots.. Finally on.
Hey guys,
Well you all know that my cars been off the road for a while awaiting its brakes amongst other things, well i finally got her home last night so sorry its dirty.
Couldnt wait to show you these.
Just as a special coming home present to the car i bought this for her. Yet to be polished and painted though.
I also have some KW Variant 3s on order which should hopefully be here before my next Nurburgring visit. August 19th
Cheers for looking

Pedal feel is nice and responsive with nice modulation.
DS2500s are utter sh1te though, im getting them to fade without too much trouble. Soon to be thrown in the bin for some DS3000s or some Pagids.
I can get the front tyres chirping on about 70% useage so should be awesome to stamp on with some track rubber on

Nice me old m8 very nice. I thought you were going another direction Brake wise. Good luck with that Diff guard hard work but they do look good polished. I won a Geometry set up with these Mocom Fellas today, so maybe see you up there

I was going with Alcons mate but the funked me abot for 9 weeks and after delivering 3 different sets of brakes couldnt get it right so i told em to shove it and bought these instead.
Got em in black too as you dont seem to see too many of the 356mm kit in black.
Cool about the geo setup @ Mocoms too mate, if you let me know when youre gonna go then i'll try and get over to see you
Gonna start on the diff guard soon, any particular paint i should use to highlight the lettering?

Looks awesome frayz
Personally I'd dump the mudflaps but then again, I spend too much time on that "other" site too m8
Seriously though, I toyed with putting mudflaps on mine but I think they're a bit "fussy" (sorry to the thousands of you with mudflaps fitted! )

I know what you mean m8.....the only reason I'd have them is for their function over their form (goes against everything I was taught in Uni....form over function, form over function LOL )
Even though I use the car every day and it does pick up the stone chips, I just prefer the clean lines without them on!
Car's looking very very good now m8!

They look very nice, I have found the 4 pots (EBC and DS2500's) on my RA to fade somewhat, don't know if it is the calipers, disk, or pads or a combination. Had Ferodo on my DC5 and they were fine.
Do your's fit under 17"? They seem pricey on Mocom Racing web site!

My mate went from 2-pots early WRX brakes to AP's and the difference was absolutely amazing.. even up against OE Brembos with uprated Discs/Pads they were WAY better. I know its not really a big part of why you'd buy AP's but, they look great too.
Cheers,
Grant

Pukka mate. I am glad you got it sorted out in the end. You would of thought it would be easy to send you the 'right' Alcons would't you. I mean its not that hard to read a part number is it?
btw, you other thread on out of the box... I saw a CTR with a down swepted exhaust at it looked very very JDM and
