The more pics I see like this the harder I'm gonna work on mine - here's my old cars engine bay. Took ages but looking at the impreza engine is not one of the easiest bays to keep clean

Ok people, after been on these boards for a fair few years and this bloody question coming up time and time again, I am going to sit down and write an article on how to do this. It will not be on here, it will be in the ScoobyPedia.

stay tuned

there's a brilliant guide in the car care section from polished bliss.

for this one below i used aerosol gunk. warmed engine, sprayed on gunk and left for 10 mins, agitated stubborn dirt with a tooth brush. Started engine and left running, then rinsed off with a jet wash and repeated. I also used a compressor to blow away the excess water. Once dry, hoses and plastics were covered with autoglym vinyl and rubber care. i have since changed to using p21s total auto wash as this i feel it better to work with than gunk and aerospace 303 protectant for the hoses / plastic.

Lots of things would help finish it off, Chris. I forgot to get them free trial pulleys(silver) off you at the NBO, can you send them if the alloy gauge surround GB goes ahead.
