Post your piccy's up of your clean engine bays.
Mine's starting to look abit mucky and I'm in need of some Inspiration to get it sorted..

The more pics I see like this the harder I'm gonna work on mine - here's my old cars engine bay. Took ages but looking at the impreza engine is not one of the easiest bays to keep clean

there's a brilliant guide in the car care section from polished bliss.
for this one below i used aerosol gunk. warmed engine, sprayed on gunk and left for 10 mins, agitated stubborn dirt with a tooth brush. Started engine and left running, then rinsed off with a jet wash and repeated. I also used a compressor to blow away the excess water. Once dry, hoses and plastics were covered with autoglym vinyl and rubber care. i have since changed to using p21s total auto wash as this i feel it better to work with than gunk and aerospace 303 protectant for the hoses / plastic.

Mick your WR1 is really very nice.
Some nice clean engine bays around on here.

Lots of things would help finish it off, Chris. I forgot to get them free trial pulleys(silver) off you at the NBO, can you send them if the alloy gauge surround GB goes ahead.
