Goodbye Friendly WRX, Hello Monster GTR!
Well, job change has happened so my wrx ppp has been returned - to be replaced by this! It's a total beast, and I'm chuffed to bits with it and looking forward to learning how to drive it properly...
Current power - at the wheels, naturally (limited to 1 bar by standard turbos, injectors and fuel pump at the moment, but I have plans...):

Having previously owned both a wrx ppp and an R34 GTR, I hope you enjoy the change. I think that driving the GTR will feel more of an event and I particularly like the way the power is delivered in a GTR not to mention the rather unique high speed cornering characteristics ,it feels fast even though in standard spec it isn't any quicker than a JDM STi. To get the most out of the GTR without ridiculous expense 400-450bhp would be a sensible target. Mine was 420bhp and to be honest I felt that was quick enough for driving along public roads, although even at this kind of power a 350bhp impreza would be more than a match. The R33 GTR ,although not quite the heaviest Skyline is the largest and consequently isn't quite as nimble as the lighter and shorter Stis and Evo's, however as said before I personally found the driving experience much much more enjoyable, I hope you do too.

It's great driving it; I'd got bored of the wrx ppp to be honest, and wanted something more lively.
I'm not sure what it's running at the crank power-wise (over 400 I guess), but I'll be looking for more pretty soon. The engine's itself is up for it (N1 block, N1 pistons, Jun oil pump, Jun cams, HKS Pro V ECU etc.) just need the funds for turbos etc.

Cheers for all the great comments.
Had a fine moment today; behind a lorry doing about 30 or 40 in a 60 zone, short straight was coming up, knocked it down to second, floored it and fishtailed my way past screaming (in my head; it never had time to make it to my mouth) "faaaaarrrrrrrrkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!"

I saw an identical GTR parked at Etchingham Station yesterday. I noticed it because it is unusual to see on original rims! Good luck with it in the future.

Had some Impreza's keeping with me but then i think, well i have my dream car, its much heavier and its "Skyline" , that cheers me up no end.
For anyone thinking of doing it if you have deep pockets then go for it. The engines are torque all the way up to about 4.5k where just get a wave of boost pushing you along too and things tend to go really mad then.
Her'es a quick pic of mine....
