Angled BackBox Pic Request
Hi
I am replacing the backbox/centre section on my car this week and had almost made my mind up with which one to get, then i saw another make from the one I was gonna get and it got me all undecided.
Could those of you with a Jap style angled exit backbox please post piccies so i can see different makes and how they look.
Preferably on a classic too, but if not, no worries.
Cheers guys
Dan

Well Daz, i had made my mind up to get the Vortex before i saw James B's and was all ready to part with my hard earned on pay day this week
Then......
I found another Jap style back box that also looks pretty nice and it confused me cos it was a hell of alot cheaper.
I aint just wanting to save money, but one of the biggest reasons i was after the vortex was cos of the angled exit, now i just dont know
Thanks for the link tho matey

What was this other angled exit you saw and liked??
Me personally are not 100% fond of the Afterburner Vortex as I think the box and tip are too long.
The HKS hi-power is a loverly exhaust but rather expensive, plus I am not sure it would fit due to the bore size on a Sport. Depends on what centre you are running?

This is it Daz
BackBox
Its the second item down. I will be purchasing a straight through centre section as well, which with my full deCat is gonna be Foookin LOUD!
I am just undecided cos the Scoobybits one looks just as nice, is the same size pipe etc, is angled exit. I am just concerned it might not be as loud a backbox as the Afterburner.
Oh decisions!
Tsl, yours looks nice mate, well done, cracking motor!!

Yeah, i noticed that. I know Jase at Scoobybits and i spoke to him today and he says the tail pipe and angle of backbox etc can be altered.
I think i would go for a straight tip, as i aint too keen on slashed tips.
I think it looks just as nice as the vortex, and with a tidy saving to boot, can buy some other goodies with the money i save
