Very nice car mate. The only thing I'd say is it doesn't look like a WR Limited to me ... probably a Type RA.

How can you tell from this pic?
Could easily be a WRlimited with the addition of wheels, splitter and spoiler.
If it is a WR it should have the special badges and interior plus full electrics and climate control. Colour coded mirrors would say to me that it probably is a WR.....
If it were an RA I feel sure tyson would know about it

Exactly the same car as I'm after, minus the big wing and wheels. If I was to put my cheeky hat on, could I ask you how much you paid for it?

Cheers.

That doesn't make it a WR Limited. WR Limiteds also have a carbon SWRT badge on the back, SWRT-embroidered seats (hard to tell from the top pic but it doesn't look like this does), SWRT stickers on the fog lamp covers and doors. They also 'only' came in blue although I know of one white one and don't have the bulges on the wing behind the fog lamp covers. The type RA which came just after the WR Limited came in white, had the bulges and a 'keep attacking the Nurburgring' sticker on the back.

Doesn't make it anything other than a fantastic car though, scoobytyson.

Carbon WR badge

WR interior stitching

No front bumper additions or large spoiler

As you can see mine is white and doesn't (and never had) swrt decals on the fog lamp covers. It's (almost) exactly as it came out of the box. TX's is also white and has been fitted with bumper additions and type RA wheels. Looks to me as though tyson has had the extras fitted too.
Again, there's no way this would be an RA without the owners knowledge....

Mmm, interesting. When I bought mine they were very strict on colour (I wanted one in white but was told it had to be blue) and it came with all the decals. I guess they relaxed the spec of the edition at some point. When all's said and done it was a purely cosmetic edition (apart from the electrics which were a common feature of all 'limiteds') so I couldn't say what the definitive 'WR Limited' feature was: the carbon badge? the embroidered seats? the decals?

BTW, these are the pages I got all my info from when I was buying.
Translated version of http://www.subaru.co.jp/impreza/wrlimited/

It does now say that you can buy in white and that these don't come with the SWRT decals which explains the discrepancy.
