So here she is, click on the pics to make them bigger

Got a few mods planned before the summer, ready for the shows etc etc.

Cheers

The grill is an official WR1 version from Subaru I really like the style of the wheel and being Speedlines they are very light and strong but i fancy a change of colour. I've been mithering SCOO8Y MAD (sorry again Darren) to do me loads of different photoshops with different colours etc etc but still cant decide

I think the gold wheels look reaaly good with the black. I wouldn't change them. Gold wheels define a scooby!!

Looking good there Gav, a black car demands attention while cleaning that's for sure.
How about Steel Grey for the wheels

How did i know you were going to say steel grey

It does need cleaning all the time but it's something i like doing. It will be getting the full Porter Cable treatment next weekend too

I've thought of Hyper Black too as it's something not many people have but it's finding a good bodyshop who can spray them properly

nice motor mate, id would have the wheels done in a mid grey/dark silver.

black wheels are to much on a black car and make it look cheap, the gold wheels look a lot better than if they were black.

I reckon those same wheels would look good in Black Chrome, to show off the black. Its a kind of shiny anthracite.

I had my P1 alloys done on my old car:

When they are spinning, it looks really nice!

Is that powder coated mate or painted??? I was thinking of doing the same to mine

Evening Hol, you mean like a "Hyper Black" colour?? That was one that crossed my mind and i did some research into it. I'm just not sure if it will make the car too blingy as i'm wanting to go for a bit of a jap racer look. I'm still thinking of "time attack" style wheels too, like this photoshop done by SCOO8Y MAD. The actual rim shopped is underneath.

WR1 grille was originally powder coated but suffered a bit from stone chips. I just bought cheap tin of paint from B&Q and sprayed over it.

Hi Gav,

I can see what you mean. They looked alright on the silver car, but may be a bit bright against black. They were not shiny, just brighter.

To be honest, I think Silver wheels (but not bright silver) would look better than black wheels.

Good old £5 B&Q BBQ Black spray paint, I used this on my old Evo as the silver mesh looked horrible, but once sprayed black made such a difference to the front of the car.

Before(:not to good a pic, but lower grills and bonnet vent mesh look terrible)

After:

And nice scoob! I really do fancy another black blobeye!
