Default SC008Y_MAD's Scoobyclinic experience - Part 1

Today was the day that I took my loverly Sport up to Scoobyclinic for them to fit my H&R springs, Borrla, 2 pot brakes and a few other bits to be fitted and done. We left home at 09:18 and we got to the M1 services 'Tibscheif' just before Chesterfield turn off at 11:00. The weather was pretty bad what with this fog. We left the services about 11:20ish and headed off to the Clinic. We arrive in glorious sunshine.

We waited for Adam in the office. When he walked into the office he said 'Hello ScoobyMad'. 'Hi Adam' I replied. He hobbled into his chair as he has done somthing to his back .

Het got aform out for my car and I placed my list if what I wanted doing on the desk. 'Yeah thats ok...we can do that..yeah we can sort that' replied Ads to what I had writted on the sheet. That bit was done, then it was chance to book me out a courtsey car. So I filled out the form. Whilst doing this these couple walked in asking for a 'French Embassy' and were directed to Nether Farm. You can guess how it went on from there.

Anyway. Adam went off after I completed the form and got my courtsey car. On the phone yesterday, He said I would be driving a car with motoring history, Rover 216Si. Can you guess why?

I left my car eagly awaiting the mods

To be continued....

I am having some more bits added, buts thats a secret. A full respray would be a whole week, which I am NOT going to do. It was a bit on the ££££ side.

well you must be having something good done, because manifold springs and brakes are about 3-4 hours between them tops. I know you've got your alloys to put on also, but hey maybe you're dropping in a nice turbo lump eh?

Its some bodybits, exhaust, lights .
Some bodywork does need doing, so Kev, I believe is it, is going to look over the car tonight/tomorrow and give me a call as I can't afford a full respary, even tho I would really like one. Perhaps I'll do that on my next Scoob.
