being a vain sort of guy, when Zoner Tuning asked about feature cars I jumped right in, and this is the result:

Have just emailed them to tell them I have now got quads fitted and could they update the front facing pics to show this.

Your car should have way over 215bhp if it is a Jap import.

What year is it?

Should be either 240 or 260 on 97ron SUL.

Please dont run it on NUL.

POC,
it's a MY94, one of the first 5 doors, and according to the tables I've seen the first 5 doors only came with 215bhp, later ones were 240 or 260 and the Sti's were 280.

As for running it on NUL, well, I've not had any problems so far. I'm told that as it's got different compression ratio to the saloon's engine then it shoudl be ok. When I get the downpipe I will run on SUL or optimax.

240ps? nah, you lot are trying to humor me

ok, here is why I think it's 220ps

I've looked at SIDC FAQ and in the japanese production runs it lists model code: GF8B58D - which is same model code as mine, and it lists there the power as being 220ps only the Sti 5 door cam with 250ps, and I'm certain it's not an STi, cos it's not got the red manifold (unless the first ones did not have it?)

not being nasty, just positive that it's only a 200ps wagon. would be cool if it was 240 though!

I will, at some point, get the beast onto a rolling road and get it dynoed (was going to go to the Tuning japanese day but could not make it)
