Here are some pics of the car I'll be using for track days next year...
It's my dad's car now, but it used to be mine. The fool has said I can use it for track days.
It's a TR7V8 that I had converted by Grinnall Specialist Cars a fair few years ago. 3.5 Litres of Rover V8 power, Rover Vitesse 4-pot front brakes, uprated springs & shockers, etc...
I've had great fun at several outings at Castle Coombe and one at Goodwood. Much as I love my Scoob, personally I don't think you can improve on the sound made by a decent V8.
(Edited as images shown in reply below. I always mess up the links first time round, but Scoobynet died so I couldn't fix it. No sense in posting them twice, eh? - Cheers markab )
I've got some more action shots from Goodwood that I'll add soon.
(Thanks go to Marc for the scanning-in )

As promised...
A couple of pictures from Goodwood, where I had the pleasure of spanking a few "lighter & more powerful" TVR 350i's - Yeah, of course they are.

Oh yeah...
I let Fizz drive for "5 minutes", and we end up having a tussle with a TVR Griffith. We out-dragged him up a hill on the way to Hereford. He wasn't best pleased.
Naughty, naughty Fizz...
After my wedding is out of the way, next year... I want to find another TR7V8, and do the business on it for track days & sprints. Upgrade the brakes, handling, wheels, tyres, strip out the interior, replace the front wings/bonnet/bootlid with fibreglass and do some engine work.
NICE

Hi Squizz,
found your piccies, and brought it to the top again-
excellent car, looks great, but couldn't work out why you were using it for Autograss racing (first pic)
See ya,
Matthew

Cheers, guys!
No wonder you're tearing up your tyres and getting the back of your scoob out, Tony - Considering your RS2000 history!!!
I can't wait to get another TR7V8 for some track work and give you a hard time. A nice unstressed 5.0 litre conversion, big-brakes, and hmmm...a 22B style front & rear spoiler, all in WR Blue.
Well, if I can't afford a 22B... I'll just have to make one, Blue Peter styley.
