Default Pic Request....Size does matter...oo er

With the car having a scoobysport decat centre and back box on for the last four years, I feel it is time for a change (especially as i've just upgraded to 17" wheels as well)

I am looking to keep the decat centre and just change the back box to a 4 or 5" item.

If any one has a pic they can post, and what make it is to help me make my mind up would be great. The only thing I dont want to get is one of the style of back box that comes out at an angle, call me fussy but I just think they look wrong.

Many Thanks in advance

James

Hi,

This is a pic of my backbox, it is an Afterburner Vortex 5"

These can be found here Impreza Turbo 1993-2000 Classic:Impreza Turbo 1993-2000 Classic: Scoobyworld Afterburner Vortex [AFTERBURNERBB] - £279.99£249.99

Hope this helps.

By the way, it sounds the bo**ox too.

Thanks for the reply Kev, but as I said in my original post, the back boxes that come out at an angle just dont float my boat. at least i know that the 5" is not ott

TSL Firestorm - exists straight out. Really liked mine although I have just the other week changed for a Blitz which exits at an angle lol

As far as i know you can get a strait exit afterburner aswell. Ive got the jap style one but when i bought it from scoobyworld i'm sure there was the option to have a strait exit one for about £20 more. hth

BD, the ninja does look very nice , but the actual box seems to hang pretty low, is that the case, or just the angle of the picture?

Just a Magnex 5" on mine at the mo, it sounds well but I'll be changing it for an Afterburner along with a full decat early next year

And yes I know the skirts have been sprayed badly - not guilty!

The ninja is a nice looking box. Daft Lad, have you got a rear end shot of the magvex box? Saw a Nur-Spec exhaust on a bug eye STi yesterday, that is looking good also.

I have the BLITZ NUR SPEC and I love it, but If I was to change it would be for a NINJA.

Well it arrived this morning, only ordered it late Wednesday night, looks good, sounds good, but I've got some vibration/knocking noise near the front of the car. It feels like the centre section maybe rubbing somewhere. I'll get it checked out tomorrow.

Heres a couple of pics anyway

Before

And fitted
