Just cost me £1500 for a rebuild,which didn't include the crankshaft at another £400!!

I was told after the work was done that couldn't go above 3k revs for the first 1000 miles,as to run in the new pistons and crankshaft,but I've seen others on here who we're going up to 4.5k revs to run in the engine?

iv just ran mine back in after a rebuild! i done a 1000milestried not to exeed 3k if possible! p.s looks like you smashed in to some ones veggie garden lol!!!

So up 3 or 4k revs is ok then,cheers,It does look like I've driven right into a veggie patch,but thats were my car parks in front of the house,overlooking an allottments,there is a few foot drop in front,and I've nearly topple over it a couple of times in the dark.
