gotten another one..
yes I'm crazy..
wasn't satisfied with the quality of the first one, material was cheap and it didn't really fit at all.. (as I said before, I think.)
and when another Swiss scoobydriver ordered one somewhere else and reported it to be perfect I couldn't resist.. kind of a perfectionist as I am..
also ordered foglight covers at the same time, good occasion to get both things painted at once.
put the covers on unpainted for a few days:
looked interessting.. different.. don't know.. but I'm certainly gonna have them painted.
here's the two of 'em..
and here is the new one being fitted..
actually we just drilled four holes for the screws and took it of again, didn't need any adjustment..
so now the splitter and the covers are at the paintshop and my car looks just stupid!! Hate it without a splitter!
and I have to stand that look for almost a week..
hope I'm gonna survive..

Looks nice mate.
Out of ersonal reerance tho I would loose the P1 badge.
As a word of warning tho with silver cars I fond there was a rislk of ovrer coordinating, at least I found that with mine.

I know the P1 doesn't really belong there but AFAIK it's the only one in Switzerland and I thought when I have the backbox I could put it on..
(don't wanna have it lying around in my room.. would be kind of stupid..)
sorry, what do you mean by "over coordinating"? never come across that expression.. (english isn't my first language..)
your's looks nice BTW. I just don't like small rear wings..

I jus found that after I had had everything painted silver and then put clear lights on etc, It all tended to blend together. Where as clear lights on a red car for example add a bit of contrast.
Yours looks spot on tho, think its the dark wheels and the hints of black from the bonnet vents etc that make it work reaaly well.
Your right about the wing tho on mine it was overpowered by the spliter.
And yours looks much nicer for it.
Wish that Id left mine at this stage.

Or even leaving the skirts black nd fitting the splitter in black.

oh ok, thanks for the warning then..
but I think I'm not running that risk.. as you said the wheels add a nice contrast. Also I'm gonna put a prodrive sticker on the new lip again and maybe also something on the foglight covers, so there's gonna be enough black bits.
you're right though, if it's all silver (and with the non-turbo-hood) it's a bit too much silver..
what do you mean by "clear" lights? you mean those ugly (sorry) round ones? I'm definitely not gonna put them on again! Was so glad when I finally found the STi ones to replace the bling ones my predecessor had put on the car..
