aftermarket wing mirrors (classic)...?
Please show me pics of your aftermarket (wrc/m3/DTM) wing mirrors.
Please also make a note of how much they cost to your door, where from, how much lighter than OE they were and whether they were a straight fit including base plates.
The OE mirrors weigh a ton and a half each and as the car is now a toy, the rear view isnt quite as important.

cheap dtm style ones, the car specific mounting plates are crap and the mirrors actually fitted better without the mounting plates.
weigh very little and like you said can be picked up on ebay for £30 or less
(mine are actually collecting dust in my wardrobe) as i've now replaced them with the carbon wrc ones - silly light and cost me about £150 delivered second hand
