Default Finally finished the facelift !

Hi People - have finally finished the facelift front on my scooby - here are before, during and after photos -
I want to now just change the rear version 4 STi spoiler for a Version 6 or possibly the prodrive, and just add some splash guards.
I am pleased with how its turned out.
Opinions please? thanks

Looks excellent bud!

Done a good job matching the silver on the bonnet with the wings,
it's a pig to get right.

Whilst we are on this, is it possible to change just the vents on the bonnet?

It is possible yeh, but i kind of like the symetrical look - i know some people change the driver side vent for the small scoop to draw air onto the air filter however i dont have the performance air filter fitted since i have been told they can mess up the air sensor.

Car is fully decated though and sounds lovely.

Must admit I prefer the way it looks in the first pics, but thats only cos I prefer the look of the earlier models.

You've done a top job though

fantastic job there mate, bet you are chuffed to bits with it

if you dont want the mini scoop, then get yourself some 22B vents colour coded from DR motorsport. not bad price and painting all included

looks lovely mate..

I think i might just leave the standard vents on.......yeh i'm chuffed with how it turned out. The old bumper, bonnet and grill are for sale if anyone wants them? The bonnet is mint.

Everyone in agreement about changing the rear spoiler for a V5 or V6 spoiler?

I agree with you there. It's a shame they changed it because it's a bit of a giveaway.

The car looks fantastic and so much better now and up to date. I used to prefer the older classic front end but I'm now a big fan of the later classics and that looks great with the front lip on there.

Yeh i was thinking the V5

I managed to get the bumper, grill and bonnet for £450 - however when they arrived (i bought them from a guy off Ebay) - the bonnet had a crease in the front, a small dent in the middle and in transit one fo the corners near the windscreen got bent back so we agreed a £100 refund - so i got them all for £350.
The headlights cost me £110 and are proper Subaru ones - so that was a bit of a bargain
The lip spoiler was £70
The spraying cost me £590 for everything. I fitted the bumper and I helped the guy fit my bonnet.
I now have my bonnet, grill headlights and bumper to sell.
