Out with the old and in with the new.
Had the car for over 5 1/2yrs now and the front end was getting rather scabby (many down to someone reversing their Pjero into me then fooking off, thanks!) but was reluctant to go down the my 99-00 route as I feel its trying to make the car look like something it's not as it's a my98 STi IV, but an original P1 front bumper and splitter came up at a good price so i took the plunge and after getting it resprayed I'm rather glad i made the decision.
Old front.
New front (with black crystal side lights)
While the front bumper was off I thought I'd get the i/c pipework powder coated as the chrome plate was flaking off and looking well past it prime.
And after 5 1/2yrs off putting up with the ridiculous sized air bag wheel I dug my old Momo out of the loft, I wouldn't of changed the wheel had it of been my daily driver but as i do so few miles in it now I thought what the hell. And I'm so glad I did as the steering feel is vastly improved.

Thanks for the comments guys
The KnockLink will eventually be remote mounted behind the avcr with the LED's to the right of it, When i can be arsed to do it (I've only had the new LED's for 6 months)
Wasn't to sure what to do about a number plate I personally do not like them mounted in the std position blocking a large part of the i/c so I went for a sticky job, I think it looks good..

Very nice, you have made the car look 2 years newer.
I did the same myself on my old V4 and the only thing that gave it away, without opening the bonnet, was the sterring wheel. And you have sorted that
I do think you need to finish it off with a 99/00 Front gril though. Its small enough that you can paint yourself.

Damn, thats clean and sexy. Not loving the wheels (See the current P1 thread), but the rest of the car is tres good, especially liking those side lights, really suit the car.

Thanks for your thoughts
In all seriousness I wasn't the pff7 biggest fan but need to buy a wheel that I knew for sure would clear the calipers, and I really don't like the bug/blob STi wheels, But i have grown rather fond of them now

Been looking at getting some coil overs but with such a vast amount of kits on the market it's a real mine field.
Think that come the summer I may get the wheels powder coated but not anthracite, I'm going BRONZE
In fact if anyone reading this is a bit nifty with PS could they change the wheels to bronze.

[QUOTE=mneame]right had another go. for some reason i can't seem to get the back wheel to match the front but you should be able to get an idea. i think they look good. i prefer antracite but then that's what i've got on my silver classic.
so, how's this?
Getting there.
