One more day of hard work and the job is finally done

BEFORE:

AFTER:

My brother made me this special bracket:

Luckily, I found the one for the other side in my local Tescos:

Air deflector was cunningly sourced from bodgemeupascoopsplitter.com

Previous super duper ebay mod was this grounding kit:

Well happy now its all done
What do you guys think??

Cheers

Sirus, thats the whole point of the grounding kit. Its supposed to give you a better earth and provide better electrics. But i bought it cos it looks mad!!

funny that ... did exactly the same this weekend in my MY00
no brackets needed though as on that year it is a direct swap though we did have to rejig the samco hoses a bit.
will post some piccies to compare it to yours when done.
looks good though mate, just need to get some gunk down that enginebay mate you dirty man

does it actually make a difference to performance?

How much did you pay for the intercooler if you dont mind me asking?

ImprezaRob, theres not really a noticable gain or anything, but I'm 100% sure that its better than the old intercooler. It must be more effective due to the size and the fact that there are 2 entries to it rather than just one.

I paid £140 for it, so not too bad. The samco hose kit was required though and that was £52 delivered.
