Are you mad! 'pop top' looks great, a 'cover up' the scoop ain't

And the rear lights.. where was your mind? poor Type R

And the wheels (good to see you're getting ultralites )

Sorry, I think the 3 door type r's are pretty much perfect apart from maybe a set of Volk wheels or similar. But it's your car and that's my opinion (which hopefully don't mean a thing to you )

Your wheels are far better than those horrible volts. Ignore the comments of these guys. They give thumbs up comments to some right standard tat on here. yours is better plain and simple.

I have to agree with the wheel comments, not to my taste, but the rest of the car is spot on, I even like the rear lights

Thats a really nice scoob, heavens know why you would want to jump off a cliff.

But if you do decide to jump, Ill be happy to give it a nice home.

The exterior of the type r should be left as it is..imo
Apart from maybe a v6 front lip for the v5 models the styling is perfect.

Thanks for all your comments guys its really appriciated and I value all of them.

Its always going to raise a few eyebrows modding a car like the R. My problem, well I have 2 actually..... First one being that I am a serial modifier and the second is that I relly want to have something different. Yes I want to be different so I bought a Type R. Then I just wanted my Type R to be different from the rest in all honesty. My mondeo is a mondeo. Same as god knows how many others on the road. My Scoob is well...Different!

When you come to mod a car like this, or any other for that matter there will ALWAYS be parts on the car that other people do not like. We are after all, only human. Thankfully we are all different and have different tastes. Also I fully understand that many of the guys on here like the standard type look on their own cars. Fair enough IMO

At the end of the day, although it has caused me many headaches and heart ache at times, I still love my car to bits as I am sure most people on here do with their own cars - we are after all supposed to be enthusiasts.

To sum it up, you could not possibly say any fairer than that. If you still dont agree and you think my car is a stinking pile of poop and you think I am an idiot for messing with the styling.............. GO **** YOURSELF!!!

[whisper]I put lexus lights on my wrx I used to have a few years back (when they came out)[/whisper]

So I'm a fine one to talk..

I did see sense though and get some genuine STi rear lights (some pr!ck swapped them for my lexus ones - I call him a pr!ck because he still owes me £50 from 3 years ago)
