Ok so it's not a scooby but had this little fella on my shed roof just now.

Yes they have. The Greys have taken over/forced out the reds. You can still see the reds in some woodlands in the UK, but they are a lot more shy than the greys.

Grizedale forest in Cumbria you can see them.

not much chance of me seeing a red in basildon, essex then!

still, there's a pair of **** out there at the moment and they're blue. still it is cold today

as a kid i used to see red ones all the time but sadly i haven't seen one here (Durham) in around 10 years.
