VIDEO - Trying to hunt down a 993RS
I was trying to keep up with a guy in a modded 993RS round the Nurburgring. It had GT2 wide **** body kit plus engine mods amongst other changes. I didnt stand a chance
It was still my quickest video lap to date though at 8 mins 22 secs.
Big download warning

Looks like you were pushing a lot harder in the last 3rd after the proker had pulled away
I guess the weight of the dice cost you 30sec!

Sorry no can do chrome. Our providers threatened to shut us down when we did that last time. We had so much traffic it was clogging them up big time.
I have 100's of pics to post up later. Some real nice stuff too.

......the fact is the 993rs is doing the job it was designed to do. Lightweight, fantastic brakes, track suspension, tonnes of grip and most of all a better driver.

I agree with most of what you say Davyboy. The 993RS is a superb tool. In fairness I also had a play with a standard 996 and couldn't keep up. Mind you at the time you were in the car weighing me down
The simple fact of the matter is that the porsches really are the tool for the job over there.
The scoob can play up to a certain point but beyond that I have no chance. Their brakes and cornering ability is second to none.
Before anyone comes saying how they have passed GT3's etc, so have I its a piece of cake when they dont know what they are doing. We are talking about people who have done a good few laps and know what its all about.
It pains me to say it but the 6cyl german clutter rules.

Nice vid Gary... (We met last year @ the Ring...)
Did your car has any changes from standard, like suspension or brakes ?
And what about that Porker, is it a german one or had it Dutch numberplates (yellow with black **-**-**)...
Cheers

Creepy.
My suspension is standard as are the brakes, other than the pads which are Pagid yellow.
What car were you in last year Creepy? dont remember you.
The RS was being driven by a Dutch guy I think, not sure where the car was registered though.
